Clear Thoughts Therapy Counselling and Psychotherapy in the City of London, Central London, and Ruislip

Online Counselling

In light of the current situation with the Coronavirus, and the possible restrictions on being outside and in public places, I am moving face to face therapy sessions to online.

I am using the Skype, Zoom, and FaceTime platforms for online counselling to take place.

Unfortunately, I do not know when I will be able to resume face-to-face sessions.

I have put together the following information in relation to remote therapy sessions:

a) In order to use Skype, Zoom or FaceTime, you need to have a phone camera or webcam and access to their apps or software on the device you will be using for the session.
b) Please have the relevant remote site in place and be familiar with its use before your first session.
c) Please ensure you have a good internet or data connection to ensure call quality.
d) Please ensure privacy, good light and quiet for the call and minimise the chance of interruptions.
e) If the quality of the online call is poor or repeatedly drops out, I will contact you via phone to continue the session and/or discuss next steps.
f) It is important that you are aware of the increased risks to security and confidentiality when using these platforms.
g) Please ensure that you have adequate spyware, malware and antivirus protection, which could compromise confidentiality/security.
h) Please give at least 24hrs notice if you need to reschedule.

If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact me.
